Advanced Veterinary Care Center (AVCC) in South Florida is offering small animal rotating internships (1 year) in internal medicine, surgery, oncology, neurology, cardiology, and emergency/critical care. Interns will work with a team of specialists and experienced ER doctors in a state-of-the-art facility, participating in all aspects of our practice. This program is designed specifically to prepare veterinarians for successful careers in emergency and specialty medicine.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION:

1. A DVM/VMD degree from an accredited veterinary college or university.

2. A current Florida veterinary license.  

3. At least 2 letters of recommendations from qualified veterinarians.

4. US citizenship, permanent US resident with green card, or Canadian/Mexican citizen with TN visa.

5. Externship or in-person interview at AVCC highly encouraged.
